Sing Democracy 250 is intended to make a significant national musical and cultural contribution to the 250th anniversary celebration of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. Through this music-with-a-purpose project, we seek to Engage singers and citizens, to Educate and Equip all with knowledge of what they can do to Inspire and Activate Americans to participate in renewing our democracy.

The project consists of 3 components:  a specially designed music program with 2 new compositions, 4 signature concerts beginning in Philadelphia in 2025 (followed by New York, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Washington, DC), and at least one performance in all 50 states in 2026 by high school, college, and community choirs.
